Since 1998, when Just For Kids first opened our doors to patients, we have provided the children of McKinney area residents with timely and efficient dental care. We are a privately owned dental practice that is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate dental care to children from infancy through the teenage years.
Our main focus is to provide the highest possible quality care in a setting that children of all ages can enjoy. We accomplish this through efficient teamwork and a sense of compassion for all children. We are also committed to provide individual attention to children who need special care. Terry
J. Scott, D.M.D - Board Certified
Dr. Scott has practiced
dentistry in the Dallas area for over 15 years. A graduate of
Ursinus College and Temple University School of Dentistry, he has
received advanced degrees in Biology as well as Dental Medicine.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Temple University, he moved to
Dallas where he received his specialty training in Pediatric
Dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry. In 1994, Dr. Scott
became a part-time Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at
Baylor College where he staffed the graduate clinic at Children's
Medical Center. Dr. Scott is a member of the McKinney Chamber of
Commerce and is currently a Board Member for the Historic
Preservation Commission in McKinney. He is active in numerous dental
organizations including the Texas Association of Pediatric
Dentistry, the Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the
American Association of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2008 Dr. Scott
completed extensive studies and examinations to become a Board
Certified Pediatric Dentist.
Dr. Scott and his wife, Dr. Donna Kobrin have been residents of
McKinney since 1999. Donna maintains a private Chiropractic office
here in McKinney. Dr. Scott and his family are very active in many
charitable events, especially those benefiting children. They are
also adamant supporters of the local McKinney theater arts.
